My hourly rate was $11 and from working with this wonderful venue I have gotten the opportunity to meet all different types of people and expanded my speaking skills. A big networking opportunity I got to attend was the Bridal Extravaganza at the George R. Brown convention center. I got to meet with brides from all over the world and help them find their perfect venue and more. I would say this internship has also helped me grow as a person and understand the strengths and struggles it takes to run a company along side trying to make someones special day perfect. As I continue my professional journey, I like to think of my internship as one big learning experience that continuously grows with each project and collaboration. With a dedication to functionality and a curiosity for what’s ahead of the curve, I keep my work practical, relevant and creative.
